Hannahs
InVision was asked to update New Zealand shoe chain, Hannah’s, existing TVCs for the winter season.
Glamorous talent, fashion and, of course, shoes – this was a job any girl would love, and Leisa took
the challenges of producing and directing this project comfortably in her stride. DOP Tony Luu shot
the sequences on 16mm film, capturing the warmth of the cosy interior art gallery scene and the excitement
of ‘stars’ making a red carpet entry to the theatre. The TVCs have had a kine transfer to 35mm and are
playing in cinemas across New Zealand prior to screenings of Sex and the City.

Wyndham
While jetting off to exotic locations like Fiji and New Zealand sounds more like a holiday than work –
shooting in three different countries and 5 different cities in less than two weeks is certainly the latter!
With very little time for pre-production two small camera crews did just that. DOP, Tony Luu, wove his usual
magic with a HD Varicam, shooting some beautiful travel shots that would make anyone want to get away.
Meanwhile cameraman and adventure enthusiast, Jim Maloney, took his camera on everything from jet boats to street luges,
providing audiences with a front seat view of the action!

Bluesfest Special
Working on a very tight time frame the team at InVision were approached by another production company to handle
the motion graphics packaging and delivery of a 30 minute television special for broadcast nationally on the Nine Network.
With only four days to design, animate, integrate and deliver the program, the team rose to the challenge and both the
production company and client were wrapped with the result.

Think Brick
Our motion graphics team has enjoyed working with Think Brick's bold visual identity, and in this instance the
challenge was to create an animated piece which promoted their annual design awards. In the words of Hans who
personally handled this project: "We had to create a 3d animation using the orthographic view port while still
remaining 'dimensional' and 'crisp'. Think Brick have a really clean image that needed some big tricks too pull it off.
On each animation I had to create tweens that would augment the size of the objects so they looked 'true' in orthographic view.
I wanted to create a piece that would cause the eye to follow a small movement and lead into a large reveal each time."

Creative Commons
The graphics department was commissioned to create a sequel to the Creative Commons animated video, originally animated by our own Pete Foley.
The focus of this video is to inform young people about the various Creative Commons licenses.
It was a big undertaking as Pete chose to bring the characters, Mayer and Bettle, into the 3D world and also add an extra character, Flik, to the mix.
The result is a very unique 5 minute animation which is currently making its way around Queensland on the QUT Smart Train.
